Hi, my name is Azja. I'm 24 years old and currently staying in a NYC shelter after being kicked out of my home by my mother. My mother kicked me out of my home unexpectedly 3 weeks after I graduated college. This has been one of the hardest and hurtful times of my life, but I'm doing everything I can to stay positive, keep going, and find a safe space of my own.

I'm actively looking for an apartment and trying to save every dollar I can but starting over on your own is never easy, especially in NYC.

I've been sharing my journey on TikTok, and the amount of love and support I’ve received has honestly brought me to tears. So many people have supported me and encouraged me to start a GoFundMe to give them a way to help so here I am.
