My daughter Azalea is almost 4 years old and has already shown more strength than I could have ever imagined. In 2023, she was diagnosed with leukemia, and after a long and difficult journey, she finished chemotherapy in December of 2025. We were so hopeful for her future, but just last week, Azalea began experiencing symptoms that were all too familiar. I took her to the ER, and after some initial tests, she was transferred to Riley's Children's Hospital. There, more testing confirmed our worst fears: her cancer had relapsed.

Azalea now has to be admitted at Riley's for at least a month, possibly longer. This means I have had to take off work to be by her side every step of the way, and as a result, I will not have an income during this time. Once we are released, Azalea will need to return to Riley's weekly for chemotherapy, which will require ongoing travel and additional expenses. The financial strain of daily expenses and keeping up with bills while focusing on Azalea's care is overwhelming.
