Ayleen Rodriguez has been a wonderful presence in our lives as the babysitter for my 2-year-old daughter and our friends and neighbor’s son, through our nanny-share. She has become a cherished part of our families, always showing patience, warmth, and genuine care for our children. We trust her completely and are so grateful for the love she brings into our homes every day.

Beyond her work as a caregiver, Ayleen is a creative and vibrant young person. She loves painting at home and is passionate about cooking, often inviting her sister or cousins over to try her latest dishes. Exploring Ridgewood’s local restaurants and supermarkets is one of her favorite ways to discover new ingredients and flavors. She recently signed up for the Ridgewood horror book club, and although she missed the first meeting due to her pain, she’s looking forward to joining once she’s fully recovered. Ayleen’s creativity and enthusiasm for life make her a valued member of our community.

Recently, Ayleen began experiencing severe pain. Without insurance, she thought it might be related to cramps and tried to push through. But two weeks ago, the pain became so intense that she had to go to the emergency room. There, she learned her gallbladder was infected and needed to be removed immediately. The surgery was a shock, and now Ayleen is facing a long recovery—her doctors say she’ll need 4-6 weeks before she can return to work.

Ayleen doesn’t have much family nearby to support her, and as much as we wish we could, we aren’t able to cover her living expenses or medical bills while she’s out of work. She’s been there for our children in every way, and now we want to be there for her. We’re asking for your help to support Ayleen during this difficult time.
