We're fundraising to cover school tuition and registration fees for our good friends Merlos and Doris, and their two daughters Ayla (5) and Sofia (8).

Merlos and Doris are local business owners in San Juan del Obispo, running a transportation business and the local coffee shop. Their daughters have received scholarships that cover the majority of tuition to the American International School in Antigua. An amazing opportunity for a bi-lingual education that will open up great opportunities for them in the future. While the scholarships cover the majority of their education, registration and monthly fees are still quite expensive, and they could use a hand covering these expenses.

This will be Ayla's first year at AIS, where she will have the chance to build her skills, improve her academic abilities, and master English opening up a wide array of opportunities in her future.

Sofi has been at AIS for 3 years, and is already a star in the classroom. She loves to read, flying through books in English and Spanish, and shows her creative spark as well through her drawing.

We are looking to raise funds to cover registration costs for both Ayla and Sofi, and to assist in monthly fees and other educational expenses. This family is a pillar of our local community, and we want to repay their kindness and generosity by assisting in this educational opportunity for Ayla and Sofi.
