Support Ayla and Kids After Joel's Passing

Hello all of our family and friends!

It is with a very heavy heart that I ask for your help for my nephew, Joel Stair, Sr.'s family. He is the second oldest son of my brother, Dr. Terry Sr., a pastor for 50 years (most of those in Milledgeville, GA at New Life Foursquare Church), who also passed away almost 10 months ago. Such loss to our family in such a short time!

Unfortunately, early Sunday morning, in the wee hours on 04/28/25, around 1:30 am, I received the news from my niece Ayla (his wife) that Joel Sr. had passed away!

He was 49 years old and leaves behind precious Ayla and their four beautiful children, Jaden - 19, Joel Jr. - 14, George - 12, and Kahlan - 5.

This was very unexpected and just devastating for our family. Ayla will need help with funeral expenses ASAP; they do not have any kind of insurance for a funeral, and the costs are expensive!

Joel Sr. was a devoted family man who loved Ayla and the kids very much. He loved Jesus so much, he loved to share the gospel with others, especially his kids. He loved all things related to history, playing the drums, Sons of the American Revolution (SAR), the Georgia Renaissance Festival, his Scottish history and heritage, and mostly his family, immediate and extended! He will be missed by so many!

At the request of his family and with Ayla’s permission and approval, I am making this website to ask for your help.

She needs any donations anyone is willing to make, ASAP, so as to complete his funeral arrangements in a timely manner and be able to lay Joel Sr. to rest!

This is a devastating loss for Joel’s family, as he also was the primary parent for driving their oldest son, Joel Jr., back and forth to doctor’s appointments, etc., as he deals on a regular basis with complications to his leg due to issues that arise from his Type 1 diabetes, which has been a constant battle since he was diagnosed as a small child.

Beyond the funeral expenses, Ayla will need financial help for so many things. Anything you can do to bless this precious family would be such a blessing!

Please be in much prayer for Ayla, the kids, my sister-in-law Debbie (Joel’s mom), all of his siblings, his sisters-in-law, his brother-in-law, nieces and nephews, and all of their extended family, on our side and Ayla’s family, as well as all of his friends. We need it!

Prayers for wisdom and clarity in the coming days and for guidance for Ayla as she makes necessary arrangements and decisions for her and her children.

Ayla, we love you and the kiddos so much and are so extremely sorry for your loss and the loss to our family.

You will be missed, Joel Sr., so very much by those that loved you most. I love you lots! So thankful your precious daddy was there to welcome you home with open arms. What a reunion!!
