On behalf of the Ayiti Education Association located in Nantes, France, I am launching this fundraising to continue the project of educating Haitian children in the neighborhood of Pernier, Freres, which started in 2005.

Because the school, which was built by the Association, has been invaded by gangs, students were forced to stay home and many could not participate online. This has prompted the Association and its main Founder and Coordinator, Mr. Joel Gouy, to rent a property in a safer area to house the school. The property rented needs materials and furniture such as desks and chairs. The rent is expensive. The Director is unable to transfer materials from the school building in Pernier due to gang activity in the area.

We are appealing to the generosity of all Friends of Haiti everywhere around the world to help us reach our goals for the next 3 years. Students only pay a minimal fee of about $13 a month for a quality education. These fees cannot cover the expenses of running the school, especially with rent and utilities.
