Support Ayden’s journey to a full recovery

There will never be enough ways to describe our sweet, thoughtful, kind hearted Ayden Perez, but we would like to try to tell you just a little bit about him. Ayden is only 15 years old (born Sept 10, 2007) but has already given our family an endless amount of beautiful memories filled with love and laughter. He is the most loving, soft spoken, goofy (yet shy) boy you will ever meet. He’s our human garbage disposal (boy never stops eating) who is proudly our go to guy for delicious scrambled eggs. He’s developed a love for skateboarding and enjoys riding around town and hanging out with his closest friends at the skate park. He has 5 siblings who love him more than anything and have always felt the need to be most protective over him due to his quiet and very gentle nature. He loves to help his grandma with cooking and enjoys “boys” movie days (and meals) with his pop. His two baby cousins just adore him and think he’s the coolest best skateboarder alive! Ayden truly is the light of our lives and is loved beyond any possible measure. Even during these “dreadful teenage years”, he has never forgotten to remind us all that he loves us on the daily. We can’t wait to see him open his beautiful green eyes again.
In the early hours of Sunday, June 11th 2023, Ayden was walking down Calimesa Blvd and was struck by an SUV while crossing the street. He sustained serious, life threatening injuries and is currently in critical condition at Loma Linda Hospital. We know Ayden has a long road ahead and there are still no definitive answers as to how his journey or recovery will be, but there’s no doubt in our minds that with the word of God and all of your support and prayers, Ayden will continue to fight until he makes a full recovery. Our time here at the hospital is unknown, but we expect a very long stay. Any money raised will help with all of Aydens medical expenses. Although our family is devastated and broken hearted, we want to say that the outreach from our community has been unbelievable. We can’t thank you enough for all of your continued prayers and support; we feel the love. God Bless you all from the bottom of our hearts. - The Perez Family
