Subject: A Call for Support – Help Ayden and Kenzie Through This Critical Time
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Supporters,
My name is Ayden, and I’m writing this message with a heavy heart and a deeply humbled spirit.
Many of you know that I have been battling Hodgkin’s Lymphoma since I was just 15 years old. For seven long years, my life has been a series of ups and downs – hospital stays, lost opportunities, and missed milestones. I’ve faced a lot: the loss of my dream to play baseball, my hair, my teenage years, and moments with friends and family due to constant treatments, travel for medical care, and recovery.
A year and a half ago, things were finally looking up. I married my 'Darlin', Kenzie, and we moved to Oklahoma to begin a new chapter. I secured a new job with better pay and benefits that would have allowed us to start planning for a family and a future. For the first time in a long time, we had hope.
But cancer has a cruel way of reminding you that the fight is never truly over.
Just days ago, I was hospitalized again. The cancer has now spread throughout my body. I’m facing a fractured vertebra (was neck, now it's mid-back), a mass on my left lobe, swelling on the left side of my kidney, all-over body swelling, and extensive metastasis in my bones. Each day has brought new and frightening updates from the medical team. The tests are ongoing, and so are the bills. Today's MRI will confirm the spinal bone issues, broken vertebrae, and the left lobe mass.
To make matters more difficult, I will be losing my current insurance in 30 days due to being hospitalized and unable to begin the new job this next Monday, I was so excited about. We are now facing mounting medical expenses, and the loss of income adds to our already overwhelming situation.
This is why I am reaching out.
I never imagined I’d be here again, asking for help. But we truly need it. Every donation – no matter the amount – will go directly to covering medical treatments, hospital stays, and our basic living expenses while we fight through this together. Your support would help lift the burden of financial stress and allow us to focus on what matters most: my health and our hope for a future.
If you are unable to donate, we ask from the bottom of our hearts that you share our story with others on all social media platforms. Please keep Kenzie and me in your prayers, and send love and strength our way. Faith has carried us this far, and the kindness of our community gives us the strength to keep going.
With deepest gratitude and hope,
Ayden & Kenzie
