Support Ayana Scott's Film Journey in Ghana

My name is Ayana Scott, and I am a junior at Georgia State University. I am a film major, and I am trying to raise funds to go on their study abroad program. This program explores Ghana's creative economy. It would allow me to gain more knowledge and work with people in the Ghanaian film industry. I would also learn different stories and perspectives that I wouldn't be able to in a classroom.

Having an Africana Studies minor has made me look at my major from a different perspective and has overall given it a deeper meaning for me. I want to use my skills in film to give a platform to untold stories. Learning about Ghana in school has already made me passionate about the country, so learning more about it firsthand through a medium I love would be a great opportunity.

This amount will cover the tuition and extra costs, such as food and a visa. The deadline for this GoFundMe is April 30th.
