Hello everyone, my name is Natasha King Turner, aka Your Favorite Nurse.

I would like to introduce you to Ayah Giselle Perkins, a beautiful and courageous 6-year-old little girl born to Kierra Powell. Ayah is full of life, joy, and happiness, yet she has faced challenges no child should ever have to endure. Ayah was born prematurely in Atlanta with multiple serious heart conditions and has been fighting for her life since she was just two days old.

Ayah is currently hospitalized at Children’s Hospital in Atlanta and is now facing acute decompensated heart failure. She is awaiting a heart transplant, and her condition requires constant medical care and close monitoring. This is a critical and extremely difficult time for Ayah and her family.

We are urgently asking for your support to help Ayah’s family with travel, gas, food, lodging, and other unexpected expenses that come with long-term hospitalization far from home. The financial strain continues to grow as her mother and grandmother remain by her side day and night.

Ayah is from the Bainbridge (Fowlstown), Georgia area and attends Jones Wheat Elementary School. Her mother, Kierra Powell, and Grandma Tracey have faithfully stayed by Ayah’s bedside throughout countless hospital stays, surgeries, and medical procedures over the years. Ayah also has three siblings, with a baby sister on the way, making this journey even more challenging for the family.
