We are seeking support for the family of Axel Gerardo Archaga Rios, a 17-year-old junior at Dunwoody High School, who is in ICE custody and facing deportation after a traffic stop by Dunwoody police.
Axel is an older brother to his two younger siblings, Daniel and Brianna. Kelin, their mother, is a hard working single mother who is a survivor of domestic violence. Axel arrived in the US at just five years old and has devoted himself to his family and his studies.
Axel is unfortunately being held at the Folkston ICE Processing Center near Brunswick, GA. No child should have to endure the terrible conditions of a detention center, and no family deserves to be torn apart like this one has.
