God called….and I answered!

With three and a half weeks to go until I had planned to leave for college, I was given an incredible opportunity to devote a year of my life solely to serving God using the musical talents with which he has blessed me. After prayerful consideration I have accepted this opportunity!

August 16th, I will be leaving to join a Life Action revival travel team in Michigan. After a brief period of training, we will leave September 6th to travel the Southern U.S. for the next year! We will travel to, and lead revivals at many different churches in multiple different states, including Mississippi, Georgia, Pennsylvania (ok…not exclusively the southern U.S.), Texas, Tennessee and Louisiana!

My primary role on the team will be playing drums (WOO-HOO!) on the worship team! So, not only will I get to play an instrument I love with a band almost daily, but I will get the privilege of leading others in worship at the same time! This means I will not only grow as a musician, but I will grow spiritually in worship, community and leadership! This will be a truly incredible year of spiritual growth, being pushed outside of my comfort zone, pursuing the Lord, blessing others and growing as a man of God!

That being said, I will have expenses on the road for personal needs. This could include haircuts, clothing, toiletries, medical bills and other unexpected things.
