Avery is a bright, kind-hearted seven-year-old with a smile that lights up every room. She loves playing soccer, softball, and basketball, singing and dancing whenever she gets the chance, and spending time with animals. Avery is the daughter of Cassie and Matt and a little sister to her older brother, Hayden. She is a student at Surrarrer Elementary School in Strongsville, where she is known for her sweet nature and caring heart.

In the spring of her first-grade year, Avery began experiencing concerning symptoms that led to a diagnosis no child should ever have to face: leukemia.

Since then, Avery and her family have been navigating a challenging journey filled with hospital visits, treatments, procedures, and countless unknowns. Through it all, Avery has continued to show incredible strength, courage, and resilience, inspiring everyone around her.

As Cassie and Matt focus on helping Avery fight this battle, they are also facing the many unexpected expenses that come with a childhood cancer diagnosis, including medical costs, travel to appointments, time away from work, and other daily expenses.
