Support Averie and Her Daughter After House Fire

This is Carisa, I am asking this for my dear friend, Averie, whom I met and was roommates with in acting school 30+ years ago. I live in Ventura now, and moved from Los Angeles where I lived for over 3 decades…I am requesting for any help you can give to her.

She lost her house on January 8th, 2025 to the fire in Altadena. As a single mother, she managed to get herself, her daughter and their animals out, but really only had the clothes on their backs.. they literally lost EVERYTHING.

I understand right now, a lot of people in the Los Angeles area will be in this situation, but I asked to start this for her.. she didn’t prompt it.. and I am hoping that anyone who can help, will. They will be using the money for clothing (her & her daughter), intermittent housing, toiletries, pet food & supplies-anything and everything as it is all gone.
