I am the Director of Development for AVDA.

AVDA is a state- certified domestic violence center serving victims of domestic abuse and those at risk for nearly 40 years. Programs include: 24-hour crisis hotline (call or text), 64 bed emergency shelter, 32 bed transitional comprehensive housing, outreach, safety planning, economic empowerment program, advocacy services, legal advocacy, support groups; financial assistance, community and professional education, and violence prevention programming. AVDA’s residential programs are in a confidential location in accordance with state law. All services are trauma-informed, and victim- centered focusing on the physical, emotional, and financial health of the adults and children served.
