Hello everyone! This summer I am excited to have the opportunity to head to Cusco, Peru from June 21 through July 2 on a missions trip that is also doubling as my Senior year trip! I will be traveling with a church from the west side of Michigan called Centerpoint. I heard of this opportunity through a close friend who is also attending. God has opened an incredible door to go on this missions and senior trip, and I know it will be an amazing experience. There our team of 27 people will complete a few main goals: support the launch of a new Christian school, encourage permanent Centerpoint missionaries, the Campbells, and strengthen the La Roca congregation.




Our activities will likely include work on a remodeling project on the unfinished upper floor of the school, running a VBS in the afternoons, and possibly other afternoon/evening outreach(es). Our team will also pray over the city and school, have opportunity to get to know Cusco and its people, and get a deeper understanding of the city's history and current challenges. I can’t wait!




This trip also includes a 2-day excursion to Machu Picchu, which I am also very excited for. I can’t wait to spend some time in this beautiful destination.


Remaining trip costs are about $1,600 which includes all expenses except for personal snacks and souvenir purchases. Flights will be in and out of Chicago. I will be sharing rooms in Airbnbs at our different stops. There are two remaining payments that will be made, one at the end of April and one at the end of May. Each consisting of $800.
