Hello, my name is Jessica. I'm here seeking some help for my daughter. Her name is Ava; she is my only child, and she is my everything! We are approaching a new time of life, going into her young adulthood years. We are entering this chapter, just the two of us. We left on our own in October of 2022, leaving a very bad environment after a 23-year relationship and marriage. It was absolutely necessary to get out of the situation, and it has been tough, but God has been so good to us, carrying us through.

I don't have much family myself, and because of the situation we left, Ava doesn't really either. Not by choice, but the choices of others. She went through a good bit of emotional and mental issues due to all the changes and all that occurred. She is such a good girl; she loves so strongly. I couldn't be more proud of all she has overcome, trying her best to push through her high school years and personal life. She'll be 18 in February. She got her grades back up after the past three years of struggle and is in the beginning of her senior year, working hard. She has a small part-time job all by her doing as well!

We have one vehicle. I have been her sole provider of transportation for school, work, etc., working around her schedule. She just finished up a 6-month driving school course we were able to enroll her in, again by the grace of God. She plans to do cosmetology after high school. She really needs her own vehicle to juggle school and work so I can start to work more myself to secure a future. When we left, we started all over from nothing, and we have made it this far! I know things will work out one way or another. I felt so much shame writing all of this to ask for help financially toward a safe, reliable vehicle for Ava to start out this new chapter. I am truly trying my best to provide her with all I can. I sucked it up and created this GoFundMe anyway, knowing it is okay to ask for help. It is also okay if no one can help; I absolutely understand that, and it is no one else's place.

Ava really is so special, and I just want her to have a good chance to build her future, and having a vehicle would help provide her with that opportunity after high school this year. Coming from an emotionally hard background myself, I'm just so thankful she has made the choice and does daily to not partake in bad things, and she does want to continue school and to carry all of that responsibility! If anyone can help with anything at all, it would be forever appreciated! Even if you can't help financially, prayers and well wishes for the kiddo would be just as much appreciated!

Love and blessings to all.
