Help Ava After Losing Her Father to Cancer
On December 12, Ava’s changed forever when her father passed away after a long battle with cancer. Ava is only 18 years old and still in high school, trying to navigate unimaginable grief while also facing adult responsibilities no teenager should have to carry alone.
In order to settle her father’s estate and complete the probate process, Ava must retain an attorney. The required retainer is $6,500, a cost that is simply beyond our means right now. Without legal help, she may lose any chance of receiving what her father hoped to leave behind for her, including the possibility of keeping or benefiting from his home.
As if this weren’t enough, Ava’s car has recently broken down. Without reliable transportation, it has become extremely difficult for her to get to school, maintain a job, or attend important appointments during this already overwhelming time.
I am her mother, and I want to help her in every way possible. Unfortunately, I recently left my job and had been preparing to move out of the country when this tragedy occurred. Because of this transition, my ability to financially support her right now is extremely limited. It is heartbreaking to not be able to carry this burden for her during such a vulnerable time.
Ava is a hardworking, kind, and resilient young woman who is doing her best to finish high school while coping with loss and uncertainty. She should be focusing on her education and healing — not worrying about legal fees and transportation.
We are asking, with humble hearts, for any support you can give. No amount is too small. Every donation will go directly toward the attorney retainer so we can begin the probate process and help secure Ava’s future. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much.
Thank you for your compassion, prayers, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
With gratitude,
Ava and Family ❤️
