A Difficult Diagnosis

On Wednesday, July 9th, Ava went to the hospital because she wasn’t feeling well.

By Thursday, July 10th, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer, which has already spread to her liver and other organs.

There’s no treatment that will help. Ava will not be receiving chemotherapy.

Doctors have given her approximately three months to live, give or take.

Ava has accepted this reality — with courage, clarity, and peace — and she hopes we can too.
