Ava relapsed after fighting this battle since 2023 with high-risk B-cell ALL. Started her fight at 13 and now at 16 years. old. This will be her 3rd Treatment.
A lot of people asked me how they can help. I hate asking but this is how I can think that we are greatly in need of. IF YOU FEEL LED, we are deeply thankful for your generosity and for helping us out with Ava...But know that a prayer is much more than enough and a life-long remission is more than a gift for us parents that we cannot put a price on. That would be much better and what Ava and our family truly needs. But if you feel like you'd like to help us out. We are humbly grateful for sharing your blessings with Ava and our Family.
Her treatment will be in Philadelphia 10 hrs away from us ( one-way)
With this out-of-state treatment, comes a lot of expenses for her medical, transportation, food, and lodging, the logistics are more than we can ever imagine during and after. If you feel led to help ease some burden while going through this horrific disease, we greatly appreciate it. Since Ava's diagnosis, our life and our medical expenses have been nothing that we have thought they would be, since the beginning of her treatment with constant trips to the Doctors miles and miles away, hospitalizations and just non-stop after-care appointments especially post-transplant driving 3hrs away one way mulriple times a week then got spaced out as months and months goes by, but this appointments not just ends with Oncology but other specialities too. NO ONE is ever prepared for these kinds of expenses. I worked PRN after Ava got better and I am still trying to keep my job and cut down my hours even more less to care for Ava and not being able to work whenever Ava gets admitted, due to my Husband holding up our Fort focusing making ends meet to provide for Ava and our Family and to keep our normal bills paid and insurance. We are grateful and blessed to have a dedicated Husband/Dad.
Despite what Ava has to endure, she still has that beautiful smile that lights up the room and makes you admire life. Ava keeps going and gives us so much strength to keep going.
Thank you so much for helping us with Ava. We feel all the prayers and feel all the love.
So much love, The Wease's
