Support Ava Poteat's Spine Surgery Recovery

This is Ava Poteat. She is 11 years old and in 6th grade. She has been diagnosed with a severe form of scoliosis that will require spine surgery on Jan. 13th, 2025, at UNC Hospital. This is a major surgery with a long recovery and rehab process. During this time, she will require 24-hour care. This will mean her mom will be out of work during this time, travel due to lots of appointments, medical bed/equipment expenses, household bills, etc., and everything else that still needs to be taken care of during this time.
