Friends and family have been asking how they can support Ava and Dylan during this unexpected and difficult time.

Their baby boy, Desmond, arrived yesterday and is currently receiving care in the NICU. He is undergoing 72 hours of neonatal therapeutic hypothermia to prevent brain injury from lack of oxygen. Ava and Dylan can be near him but cannot hold him or nurse him until his condition improves. The days ahead are focused on prayer, rest, hope, and being together as a family.

This fundraiser is meant to help ease some of the financial stress that can come with a NICU stay — including time away from work, meals, and other unexpected expenses — so they can focus fully on their baby.
