I'm having a full hysterectomy on June 5th. Thankfully no cancer was found, but between family history and issues I'm experiencing, surgery is the way forward. The good news is that it will happen during the 'summer slump' so many small businesses like mine experience, which means it will be easier to take time to rest. However, as someone who is self-employed, I don't have the safety net of paid time off, and I know I'm not going to have steady income coming in to help with my month-to-month bills or the remaining out-of-pocket costs I will need to pay.

The funds raised here will go directly toward my medical bills, prescriptions, and post-op care, as well as helping me cover my regular expenses during the weeks I won't be able to work. It's not easy for me to ask for help but I know the only way people can help is if they know I need it.
