Hi, my name is Autumn Langford.
For the past 4½ years, I’ve been fighting anal squamous cell carcinoma. I’ve endured treatments, brain surgeries, hospital stays, setbacks, and more pain than I ever imagined — and through it all, I’ve done my best to keep showing up with strength, faith, and hope for my family.
Right now, this fight feels different. While I’m still fighting with everything I have, I’m also facing the possibility that cancer may be winning this battle. That reality is incredibly hard to put into words.
The hardest part isn’t what cancer has done to my body — it’s knowing I may be leaving behind my sweet husband, Paul, and our two beautiful children, Liam (12) and Lilyana (10). I’m only 42, and the thought of them navigating life without me breaks my heart in ways I can’t fully explain.
Before my diagnosis, our life was full and wonderfully ordinary in all the ways you don’t realize are a gift until they’re gone. Since cancer entered our lives, my focus has been simple: loving my family fiercely and creating as many meaningful memories with them as possible.
This fundraiser is something I never wanted to create, but I’m doing it now with one heartfelt request:
