On August 20th, Austin was a passenger in a vehicle that was involved in a serious car accident that resulted in a T12 spinal fracture and a spinal cord injury. We are incredibly grateful that he survived, but the journey ahead will be long and challenging. He remains hospitalized and is receiving ongoing care following a 6 hour surgery to repair his spine. Once discharged, Austin will begin intensive physical therapy as part of his recovery process.
