On Sunday July 13,2025 my little brother Austin was in a motorcycle accident in nyc. My brother was struck by a negligent driver who ran a red light. Thanks to god and all of his guardian angels he is going to pull through but will face a long term progress road ahead. The first thing my brother said to me on the phone was that he still had a job as a uncle to do hes not going anywhere and he was gonna be okay, if you know austin then you know just how big his heart is. With that being said life never stops and as we all know the bills still come. Im making this in hopes to be a support for my brother to be able to take his time and heal his body in the time he needs to be where he needs to be physically. We are currently in a limbo of knowing future steps for him as there is too much swelling for imagining to conclude for next steps of his process. My brother has the biggest heart i know he has fought enough through life already but he shows everyday he is one of the strongest soldiers. Whether you know Austin from one walk of life or another we would all come together and agree he is someone who deserves all the love and support we could all offer. If anyone could donate towards his recovery fund or even share this to your social media accounts it would be appreciated.
As of Wednesday June 16th Austin is currently waiting on the swelling in his arm to go down. My brother is currently unable to move his right arm almost completely except for a small bit of movement in his fingers. The swelling needs to first come down before further steps can be taken. Its looking like about 3-5 weeks per doctors word. In that time austin would start rehab until we know if he will need surgery or not. A-lot is still up in the air as far as future plans whether he will be in inpatient or outpatient rehab. Unfortunately theres not much we can but wait for the body to do its job.
whether my brother is in in or outpatient rehab he will not be able to return to work for sometime. As we all know it is not cheap to live anywhere let alone NYC. Any bit of money will help my brother be able to focus on healing and not be stressed over bills.
As his sister i cant thank you enough for all your donations and prayers. Nothing goes unnoticed!
