Hi everyone,

As everyone who knows Austin knows how important the outdoors are to him, I am reaching out to ask for support during a difficult time. Recently, my boyfriend was involved in an accident while out hunting. He suffered a fall that resulted in two broken bones in his leg and had to be life flighted out of the area for emergency medical attention. He has since undergone surgery and is now beginning the long road to recovery.

Due to the extent of his injuries, he will be unable to work or go out exploring and doing what he loves for the foreseeable future, and as his partner and caregiver, as well as his parents need to take time off of our jobs to support him during his healing process.

As you can imagine, the medical bills, transportation costs, and loss of income have created a significant financial burden. We’re doing our best to stay strong and take things one day at a time, to focus on Austin’s healing. But we could really use some help to get through this.
