Support Austin Thomas with Essential Equipment

Austin was born severely handicapped. He is nonverbal and he is confined to a special wheelchair. His parents, Larry and Laurie Thomas, have taken care of him since birth. He requires 24/7 care, and they never leave him. He has multiple medical problems, most of which are covered by insurance. Just recently, his shunt that keeps him alive malfunctioned. The doctor performed surgery immediately. Larry and Laurie advocate so much for the handicapped. want Austin to lead the best life he can.

Their van that had a lift has now died. Without it, they cannot transport Austin. They also have a track system in their house to be able to move him. It has malfunctioned and it needs to be repaired. Insurance does not cover either of these costs.

I have known Larry and Laurie for over 40 years. They have never asked for help. Larry worked in the law enforcement community in Volusia County for over 40 years. Any amount you can give will be appreciated and will make their life a little bit easier.
