As most of you are aware by today Austin succumbed to her injuries and instead of a recovery fund this is now a Medical bill and funeral expenses request . I spoke with her father in length last night and this is what he said happened.

She was on her way to Heavenly Acres rodeo to ride . She was in her new / used truck and her mom and sister were about 4 minutes behind her pulling the horse trailer . Austin’s tire blew on her truck . The truck flipped and she was thrown out . The truck rolled on top of her and had her pinned underneath it . The fire department had to use air bags to get the truck off of her while her mom and sister watched . Her body was broken up so badly and she had so much internal bleeding she was rushed to Baxley where she coded . They got her stabilized enough to get her by ambulance to Savannah where the trauma unit was waiting. She was immediately taken into surgery to try and relieve the swelling and placed on a ventilator. Her body was just too badly damaged and she was taken off of the ventilator and passed away Sunday morning. We are all devastated by this and need to support her family as much as possible.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward Austin’s Funeral expenses and the many bills resulting from her accident.
