This fundraiser is for Mike Mason (beneficiary), father to Austin Mason, to support the family and Austin’s health care and medical needs.  I am a fellow parent from the wrestling and football team in our school district (BHBL). Mike Mason will receive all funds directly as the beneficiary to support Austin. 

Austin Mason is a sophomore at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake and a proud member of the football and wrestling teams. His teammates know and admire him as kindhearted, hardworking, and supportive - the kind of kid who brings strength, friendship, and positivity to everyone around him. While celebrating his birthday with friends, Austin was involved in an accident. He fell from a golf cart, landed on his head, and was rushed by ambulance to Albany Medical Center. Austin suffered a skull fracture and multiple brain bleeds. His injuries require close, continued monitoring, and he faces a longer recovery period.

During this time, Austin's parents, Mike and Heather Mason, are staying by his side and giving him all the love and support he needs. As they step away from work to focus on Austin's healing, they are also facing medical bills and other unexpected expenses. Every donation will go directly to Mike and Heather to help cover Austin's medical care and ease the financial burden of time off from work. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will allow the Mason family to focus on what matters most: helping Austin heal and bringing him home.
