Dear Community,Friends & Family,

We are reaching out to you with a heartfelt request to come together and support a brave young boy named, Austin Spink. On January 19th, Austin unexpectedly experienced a serious brain aneurysm as a result of a ruptured AVM.

This little warrior has undergone a major brain surgery and since then has been a true miracle. On February 7th Austin was transferred out of the pediatric ICU (woohoo!) to a rehabilitation center where he can continue to work on regaining his strength and mobility. Soon Austin will need to undergo further procedures to complete the first surgery while also addressing additional AVMs that were found.. Though he has a long road ahead, Austin has defied the odds while shocking his therapists and doctors everyday with his progress and his daily determination to fight and get stronger.

As the family and Austin embark on the challenging road to recovery, we believe that together, we can make a significant difference in easing the burden on his family.

Austin is a resilient boy who loves sports (shoutout to the Knights and Titans), his family (mom, Cheri, Dad- Dennis, sister Ellie, brother Sean, dog-Cooper, loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins) and countless friends. He and his family have faced this unexpected medical journey with unwavering courage. His family has been by his side every step of the way, providing the love and care needed for his recovery.

However, the unknown financial strain of medical expenses, ongoing treatments, and the challenges of daily life during this time can be overwhelming.

In an effort to support Austin and his family, we are organizing a fundraiser to raise funds that will go towards medical expenses and any other needs that may arise during his journey to recovery.
