We are reaching out to ask for your support for our beloved Austin, who has recently been diagnosed with an inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor. This tumor, classified as a sarcoma, is extremely rare in adults and has brought unexpected challenges into Austin’s life.
Austin is a dedicated Junior attending the University of California, Irvine. With this diagnosis, he now faces a critical surgery to remove the tumor. Doctors are hopeful they can remove only part of his lung, but there is a chance that, if the tumor’s root cannot be accessed, they may have to remove an entire lung, which would significantly alter Austin’s way of life.
His parents, Keri and Brian, live in Washington but will be traveling frequently to California to support Austin through his surgery and recovery. This means they will have to miss work while managing travel expenses and helping with Austin’s mounting medical bills. It’s a heavy burden, both emotionally and financially.
We are reaching out to friends, family, and compassionate individuals for help. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference. Your support will assist with travel costs, lost income, and medical expenses, providing much-needed relief for Keri, Brian, and their family as they focus on being there for Austin.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for any support you can offer, whether through a donation or simply sharing this message. Let’s come together to lift Austin and his family up during this difficult time.
