It is with a heavy heart that we share the tragic loss of Shaun McLellan, a devoted father to Austin, fiancé to Kristen Chiaramonte, Lawrence police officer, and proud US Navy veteran. Shaun tragically took his own life, leaving behind a legacy of service, sacrifice, and love.

Shaun was a dedicated officer who worked to protect and serve the community, as well as a brave Navy veteran who fought for our country. To those who knew him, Shaun was also a father, a friend, and a man with a heart of gold.

Through both the good and bad times, Shaun built lasting friendships that he cherished deeply. His friends, most of whom have known him for many years, will miss him dearly. Shaun’s loyalty and kind spirit made him someone people could count on, and those who had the privilege of knowing him will never forget the impact he had on their lives.

Shaun had a true passion for riding his motorcycle, and it was a part of him that brought him peace and joy. Whether cruising on the open road or simply enjoying a quiet moment on his bike, it was a reflection of his love for freedom and adventure. His motorcycle rides were one of the many ways Shaun connected with the world around him and found solace in the beauty of the open road.

As we mourn Shaun's passing, we also stand with his son, Austin, and Fiancé Kristen, during this incredibly difficult time. Austin is about to welcome his own baby girl into the world this month, and with the birth of his daughter, the emotional burden and financial responsibilities are even greater, and Kristen will have to figure out how to live without the man she planned to grow her life with.

We are rallying around them all, offering our support as they navigate this profound loss.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly to Shaun's family to assist with funeral expenses and to help support . Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact and provide much-needed relief during this time of unimaginable grief.
