Austin and Abbi’s beautiful baby boy, August Finch Duling, was born on Wednesday, August 13th after 24 long hours of labor for Abbi. What should have been the most exciting time for Austin & Abbi quickly turned into chaos as August was born with Spina Bifida, not caught on any of the scans or tests Abbi had done during the pregnancy. August was taken quickly to the NICU and then transferred to Dayton Children’s Hospital within hours of being born. August’s first surgery to repair the opening of his spine was on Friday, and the doctors are really optimistic about how well the surgery went! August will be at Children’s for at least 3 more weeks, but it could be longer depending on a lot of different factors.

We would love to give Abbi & Austin the gift of relieving any stress of medical bills, money for gas and food while they stay at the hospital with August, and to allow Austin to take 3 months family leave from work.
