Austen Dearing is a hardworking young father of two adorable boys. He is a volunteer firefighter for the Wills Point Fire Department and a cook at Chili’s in Terrell.

Last week, he got into some poison ivy, and it got infected. He also bumped his shin bone. He was worried about missing work, so he didn’t get it checked out, and it got worse. Needless to say, he ended up in the hospital with sepsis and cellulitis. He has been in the hospital all week, and even though he was released today, he can’t go back to work for another week.

This is financially stressful for him because the 2 weeks without pay is going to be difficult to pay his bills. Not asking for a lot of money, just help to pay bills. He would never ask for help, so I, as his Grammy, am asking for him. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
