Hello! My name is Aurora Albright, and I am entering my junior year at Central Washington University, where I am studying Music Education and Performance in Double Bass. As I continue my education, I am realizing the need for a vehicle to facilitate travel for both educational purposes and family. While I am working as much as I can this summer, I will not have the proper expenses before going back to school.

With a vehicle, I will be able to complete field experiences for my degree, with a major field experience being this upcoming fall quarter; I will be attending a public middle school and observing a classroom environment, and assisting my teacher mentor for two weeks. With this, a vehicle will provide me the ability to participate in other musical endeavors as both an educator and performer, including music education conferences, workshops, volunteering in string music classrooms, orchestral gigs, as well as other upcoming field experiences.

And while this will help with my education, I also have a younger sister who will be a freshman at CWU to study Film. To be able to travel to school and home together would be helpful not only to my sister and me but to my family as well.

I am fundraising for a vehicle large enough to transport my instrument, because taking public transportation with my instrument is unrealistic in my education and career. I am hoping to purchase vehicle to at least get me from point A to point B.
