Our dear friend Ms. Aurora, a dedicated teacher at Westside Waldorf School and single mother, has been displaced by the devastating Palisades fires. This is on top of the loss and trauma of her and her students losing their school, their 2nd home. She has been my daughter's beloved teacher for the last five years. Waldorf teachers become family. They hold our children through so much. And now it's our turn to hold her. Along with her son and their dog, she has lost the feeling of safety and stability and is now facing the overwhelming challenge of finding temporary housing and rebuilding their lives.
She has spent her career nurturing and educating countless children, pouring her heart into the lives of others. Now, she needs our help. The sudden displacement has left her with unexpected expenses for temporary housing for herself, her son, and their dog.
This is a family who has always given back to their community with kindness and dedication. It’s our turn to show up for them. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help cover their immediate housing costs and essential needs as they navigate this difficult time.
Please consider donating to support her family in rebuilding their life after this tragedy. If you can’t donate, sharing this campaign with your network would mean the world to them.
