Help Aurora fight Cic-Rearranged Sarcoma.
Update:
Shortly after thanksgiving we were admitted with Bronson after a trip to our local emergency room.
She was having pain we were not able to manage at home.
The emergency staff started her on IV fentanyl, lidocaine patches and fluids. They continued the same at Bronson. We were discharged and sent home December 3rd and met our first hospice nurses the day after. Hospice has been amazing to our family. Always making sure Aurora has everything she needs in any way.  Since we are officially admitted with hospice at home, we have not been working much. We have been trying to make as many beautiful memories as we can. Our oncologist has given us weeks to months with the way her tumors are growing. We’ve started a new chemotherapy and are waiting to hear about more radiation. Doing anything we can to have more time with our daughter. We are still waiting on make a wish and hoping they will reach back out soon. Until then we are still trying to make the best of everything we can at home, building memories and being there for one another.

My name is Sarah, and I'm making this GoFundMe for my daughter, Aurora. Shes twelve years old and has two younger siblings who absolutely adore their big sister. Aurora has always been full of love, adventure and curiosity. Shes an amazing student who loves to learn and help others.

Back in January, Aurora had a mass removed from her left thigh, just above the knee. The sample was sent to Mayo Clinic for testing, and we received the devastating news that it was a CIC-Rearranged sarcoma, a very rare and aggressive cancer.

Between April and July, Aurora went through several surgeries and rounds of intensive chemotherapy. For a brief time, we thought she was in remission, but recently we learned that the cancer has spread to her lungs. She currently has around eight new tumors in her lungs and one nearly two inches wide on her diaphragm.

This news has been heartbreaking for our family. Aurora will be starting a new chemotherapy regimen soon, and her doctors have encouraged us to help her experience as much joy as possible while she feels well enough to do so.

We're hoping to create memories and give Aurora special experiences that make her happy, while also managing the growing costs of travel, medical care, and time away from work. Any support, weather it be through donations, shares or kind words means the world to us as we continue to fight alongside her.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us support Aurora on this journey.
