Support Aurora University Students After House Fire

Hello, my name is Alexis. Please take a moment to read about the tragedy that happened to my boyfriend and his two friends. They are fifth-year graduate students at Aurora University who recently experienced a devastating house fire on Sunday morning, October 5, 2025. The fire severely damaged their home, personal belongings, and cherished items. One student was home at the time and managed to escape safely after discovering the flames. Tragically, one student’s cats passed away from smoke inhalation.

As they begin the difficult process of recovery—replacing essentials, finding new housing, and grieving what was lost—any support would mean the world.
