Support Aurelia in Gender Affirming Surgery costs

Hi! I'm Aurelia, a 27 year old transgender woman living and working in the Pacific Northwest of the USA. I have been transitioning for about 4 years and have recently begun the daunting journey of several surgeries I wish for to help me feel healthy, comfortable in, and euphoric about my body. The first of these is an orchiectomy. This procedure is rather expensive for a working, single woman like myself and I am reaching out for the help of my community to continue my transition this way.

An orchiectomy is a procedure done for a variety of reasons including but not limited to gender affirming care for transgender women, like me! By eliminating the production of testosterone from my body I now look forward to more effective and stable hormone therapy, not to mention improved physical comfort in my daily life.

With the recent changes to our political landscape here in the USA, Medicaid's support for the average, middle class person like myself is being infringed upon. Women's healthcare and right to affordable care has always been heavily infringed upon here in the USA; this is not news. However, I cannot let this discourage me on my journey to becoming a happier and healthier woman.
