Support Auntie Yolanda After Edwin's Passing

This fundraiser is dedicated to my uncle. All monies are solely for openg of plot and casket .Unfortunately, he didn't have any life insurance or any savings. We, as a family, are in need of help (assistance) with this process. We humbly ask you to help and if you can contribute to this cause. My uncle had no children, no wife, just 2 siblings, one that has continuously been at his side since he was admitted to the hospital. We are raising $5,000, which includes opening of ground, casket services, and burial.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of the elder brother of our beloved Auntie Yolanda, mother of Sr. Jennah, mother-in-law of Br. Aquil, and wife of Uncle Roberto. Brother Edwin Gonzalez returned to his Lord this evening in New York.

While he has been battling sickness for a year in the hospital and in rehab, he was gifted by Allah, the Most Merciful, to take his shahada. We pray and hope and have the good opinion of our Lord that all of the pain and suffering he went through during this last year has been a means for a perfect cleansing for him and a complete forgiveness from His Lord, Allahumma Ameen!

We hope to recite a khatm of Allah ta’ala’s Blessed Book and Eternal Speech on his behalf that will be a means of peace and tranquility and safety for him as he prepares to enter his grave.
