Help Rosie Fight HER2+ Breast Cancer/ Ayuda a Rosie en su Lucha Contra el Cáncer de Mama HER2+

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my incredible aunt, Rosie. She has always been the kind of person who puts others before herself, whether through her work in HR, translating for those in need, or simply offering kindness and support to anyone who crosses her path. Now, she needs our help.

In mid-2024, my aunt Rosie was diagnosed with HER2+ breast cancer, turning her world upside down. She has undergone chemotherapy, surgery, and is now in the middle of radiation treatment. The journey has been incredibly tough, and she still faces the possibility of a double mastectomy as the next step in her fight.

Despite everything—losing her mother and rock in Feb, struggling with medical bills, and enduring the physical toll of cancer treatment—Rosie continues to think of others before herself. She had to stop working in October because the treatments became too difficult to manage. She went on disability, but that support has now changed, leaving her with little to no income as medical bills and living expenses continue to pile up.

Insurance helps, but it doesn’t cover everything. Between deductibles, co-pays, additional treatments, and basic living expenses, the financial strain has become overwhelming. We want to relieve some of that burden so she can focus on healing without the constant stress of finances.

Any amount you can contribute will go directly toward her medical expenses, treatments, and everyday costs as she continues this fight. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser and keeping Rosie in your prayers would mean the world to us.

Hoy me an acerco a ustedes en nombre de mi incredible tía Rosie. Siempre ha sido una persona que pone a los demas antes que a si misma, ya sea a través de su trabajo en Recursos Humanos, traduciendo para quienes lo necesitan o simplemente brindando apoyo y amabilidad a cualquiera que cruce su camino. Ahora, ella necesita nuestra ayuda.

A mediados de 2024, a Rosie le diagnosticaron cáncer de mama HER2+, cambiando su vida por completo. Ha pasado por quimioterapia, cirugía y actualmente se encuentra en medio de su tratamiento de radiación.
