Support Aunt Meg's Surgery & Medical Treatment

Hello All,

I’m writing on behalf of my Aunt Meg—a loving, courageous woman who now finds herself facing one of the most difficult times of her life.

What began as a simple request to help board her SD dog, Maxie, while she recovered from surgery has quickly turned into a much more urgent plea.

On June 9th, Aunt Meg underwent a mastectomy. While we were all hopeful this would be the first step toward healing, her post-op results brought devastating news: doctors now know she has a rare tumor that's a very difficult type of cancer to treat. She's undergoing further testing and preparing for the possibility of more extensive treatment, including biopsies, scans, surgery and likely radiation and experimental treatments.

In the midst of this heartbreaking uncertainty, her need for financial help has grown.The focus has shifted. Aunt Meg now faces mounting medical expenses on top of the basic costs of recovery: transportation to appointments, medications, follow-up procedures, and the basic necessities to get through the coming weeks and months.

We’re hoping to raise $3000 to help relieve some of the burden she’s carrying—so she can focus on what matters most: her health and her fight.
