Support Aunt Debbie’s Cancer Battle and Journey to Healing

I am fundraising for my Aunt Debbie, who has been undergoing treatment for cervical cancer since April 2024. She has been working one and/or two jobs for the past 20 years to support herself. She is a hard worker and also enjoys the simple things in life. Last December, she was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer.

Once she started treatment, she was receiving 5 days of radiation for 5 weeks and chemotherapy every Monday. My Aunt still continued showing up for work during that time, in between treatments because she had to still pay her rent, pay the medical bills, and pay utilities until she was too weak and too sick from the side effects to work any longer. This has caused her to spend what money she has saved and use most of the short-term disability she received to pay for medical expenses, cover her rent, and food and utility bills.

Unfortunately, in the middle of treatments, the doctor had to stop her treatments because she became too thin and too weak to continue. This has prolonged her being able to return to work to make the money she needs to pay the aforementioned bills. She has regained enough of her strength back to start the treatment again and has four more until her treatments are completed.

Great news is that the treatment is working and her mass has shrunk and she is on the path to healing. The bad news is that because she cannot work at this time which makes it so she can’t afford the bare essentials. I would like for her to not have to mentally worry about anything but getting better so I have started this campaign. Any money donated will pay for rent for a few months while she goes through treatment and heals, medical bills, utility bills, and groceries.

Any amount donated will be deposited directly into my Aunt's account and we would be eternally grateful for anything that you can do.
