It’s truly heart-wrenching to hear about her accident, especially considering the selfless work she has done for both people and animals in our community. 1. First and foremost, we believe in the power of prayer. Psalm 27 and 139 remind us that the Lord is with us in every situation. He is our protector, our provider, our healer, and our comforter. We do not have to fear because He is with us. The fact that Brenda is alive right now is a miracle from God. We are so thankful.

Despite the timing of this accident, Brenda still has living expenses and animals to take care of. Not to mention the medical expenses that will come. Her story:

One of Princeton’s unsung hero’s was ran over and drug by a pickup truck while walking out of Walmart on Saturday, January 4th. Brenda Craft is our loving aunt who is devoted to taking care of both people and animals throughout our community. When she isn’t helping people, she can be found feeding the stray cat population everywhere between Princeton and Bluefield. They never miss a meal, thanks to Brenda and other local cat lovers.

Brenda is the definition of caregiver, but after this horrible accident is in need of miraculous healing and care for herself now. She was airlifted to Charleston last night. Her injuries include: 8 severely fractured ribs (at least one is “stabbing” her lung), collapsed lung - pneumothorax, fractured femur, and several fractures in her arm. She has already had surgery to stabilize her leg with a partial hip replacement and rods and screws were used to repair her arm fractures. Her medical team has a plan in place to address each injury, as her body heals. Please continue to pray for her. She has a long road ahead of her.
