To so many of us she’s Aunt Barb. Sure she’s a sister and a friend and mom and grandma to Joe and Scarlett, but she’s “the aunt” to a numerous amount of us nieces and nephews, even great ones know her well and adore her. She’s the retired teacher that has the biggest heart you’ve ever known. She never hesitates to step in to help anyone out. She always has gifts to shower those nieces and nephews in love and joy.
But in the past few months we’ve watched our beloved aunt’s health deteriorate. In what was suppose to be a fairly common procedure back in October has now turned in to a avalanche of medical challenges these past six months, leaving our Aunt Barb unable to be on her own at home, requiring many therapies and in patient care.
Insurance is limited on what they are willing to cover, and funds are needed to pay out of pocket for her continued therapies in a rehab setting in hopes we can get her back to herself and ability to be on her own again. Any donation is helpful in helping us get her the resources and care she needs in the months ahead. Your support will go directly towards her medical expenses, therapies, and the specialized rehab care she needs to recover and regain her independence. Thank you for considering a donation and for keeping Aunt Barb in your prayers.
