Support Aulelio's Recovery from Brain Surgery
Donation protected
My husband, Aulelio (AP), was recently diagnosed with Chiari malformation type 1, a serious neurological condition where the cerebellum extends into the spinal canal, putting pressure on the brainstem.
On July 22, Aulelio underwent brain decompression surgery to alleviate his symptoms and prevent further complications. His neurologist recommended having the surgery as soon as possible due to the uncertain risk of further nerve damage, leaving us no time to plan or save. He was discharged on July 24 and is now at home on the road to recovery.
As the sole breadwinner, I’m doing everything I can to ensure Aulelio can rest and recover without the added burden of financial stress. We are facing significant medical bills, costs of medications, and everyday expenses while he is unable to work. While we wait for his temporary disability insurance (TDI) to be processed, we are asking for a little bit of help.
Aulelio has always been a hard worker, and asking for help isn’t easy for either of us. However, his health and well-being are our top priorities right now. We’re reaching out to friends, family, and the community for support during this difficult time. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers as he continues to heal.
