Support August's Move to Stability

August is on the brink of being unhoused and needs some help.

August moved from Massachusetts to Virginia several months ago to be closer to their kids. During this time they've been living in an extended-stay hotel, trying to find a home to buy or rent. As time has gone by their expenses have eaten away at their savings.

August has found a rental that will accommodate themselves and let them give their kids a place to crash during visitations. The landlord has asked for first month's rent plus a deposit, which has wiped out August's savings. In order to pay for the last week of their lodgings as well as moving expenses and get their stuff out of storage, they need some help.

We all deserve safe, affordable housing. The money raised here will go toward all of these expenses and give August some peace of mind. We hope you'll contribute however you can.
