Riverside County—Please Help Me Save August ❤️ Urgent Surgery Needed

Hi, my name is Michael Jacquez, and I live in Riverside County. I’m asking for help to save my dog, August.

August is my 11-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and he is my heart. I have two dogs, and they are not just pets—they are my family and my entire world.

August was recently diagnosed with a tumor and is now anemic. He urgently needs a blood transfusion and to be seen by a specialty surgeon to remove the tumor. Without this treatment, I could lose him.

I am terrified of losing my best friend.

I am currently disabled and in a wheelchair, and my dogs are my constant companions and emotional support. August has helped me through some of the darkest times in my life. When I felt alone, he was there for me. He gave me comfort, love, and a reason to keep going.

Now he needs me—and I feel helpless because I cannot afford the life-saving care he needs on my own.

I am doing everything I can. I’ve started making candy to sell and trying to find any way possible to raise money, but the cost of emergency care, a blood transfusion, and surgery is overwhelming.

I feel like I’m letting him down, and that breaks my heart. He deserves a chance to live and be pain-free.
