We are Olivia Vargas and Marissa Peak from the soul-pop duo, August, from Grand Rapids, MI. We are excited to share with you that we are currently in the process of making our 3rd album, Drop the Match, with our dear friend and collaborator, Devin Anderson. This album is extremely special to us as it marks our journey in finding our new sound. It not only tells a story of finding a voice after heartache, but hopefully also tells a story of the many women who have made themselves small for the comfort of those around them.

As many of you know, creating an album is an expensive project and it can be especially hard as independent artists. We would love it if you would consider contributing to your local arts community by aiding us in our efforts to create this album.
